I.D. Images, a leading pressure sensitive label converter with headquarters in Brunswick, OH, USA, has received a BS5609 section 3 certificate for a printed label construction, which includes five flexographic inks and two thermal transfer ribbons.

I.D. Images received BS5609 section 3 approval to print five specific ink colors; black, 186 red, 109 yellow, 335 green, 285 blue and two thermal transfer ribbons on a thermal transfer printable 3.7mil Kimdura material.

The ability to print static information with inks gives customers the additional flexibility to pre-print static information on chemical labels required to pass BS5609 section 3 compliance and print additional specific chemical information with specific thermal transfer red and black ribbons on an “as needed” basis.
